Apple Dance are very excited to be asked to perform at The Macron Stadium for Fame Factory Spotlight this Christmas and New Year.
We have now been established 45 years and are a family run centre passed from our Principal Mrs Appleyard to her daughters Diane and JD, we like to keep that family atmosphere running throughout the school.
Having grown from strength to strength we now have several schools throughout the north west including locally Bolton & Leigh, where we teach ages 3-83 with a wide range of all dance styles and musical theatre.
The Apple Dancers have performed in theatres and venues all over the country & we have many students studying at vocational schools including The Royal Ballet School, in London. Previous pupils are now performing all over the world including London and UK Theatre Tours, Vegas, China, plus many more performing and exploring at the same time on Cruises.
Good luck to all the children auditioning for Dick Whittington and a massive thank you to all the staff and parents for their support.
The Dawson's Academy of Dance and Stage was established in 1987 and in that time has grown from small beginnings into one of the largest, and well known and respected dance and stage schools in the area and in the North West.
The Academy offers training and coaching for children and students in the Performing Arts, and is very proud to have been awarded the Bolton Mark (Kite marked status).
The pupils of the school have appeared in many shows on stage and TV over the years, and in that time raising thousands of pounds for good causes.
Over the 27 years the pupils have appeared on many famous stages including The Albert Halls, The Palace Theatre, The Lowry Theatre, The Blackpool Opera House, The Globe Theatre Blackpool, The Middleton Arena ,The De Vere Hotel group, The Palace Hotel, The Hilton Hotel and not forgetting Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West end.
